Fire Alarm Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled and motivated Low Voltage Technician to join our fire alarm systems team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, with a primary focus on fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial settings. Responsibilities Install, test, and maintain fire alarm systems and other low voltage systems such as security and access control. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Pull, terminate, and label low voltage wiring and cabling. Program and configure fire alarm control panels and related devices. Perform inspections to ensure systems adhere to local codes. Troubleshoot and repair system faults and malfunctions. Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and other trades on job sites. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients. Essential Skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to provide own tools. Specific industry training will assist with a higher pay rate. Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Savannah, Georgia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
