Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $19 per hour

1st Shift: 5:00 am - 1:30 pm (Monday - Friday) OT 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm (Monday - Friday as business dictates)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Operate various CNC-controlled machines, such as presses, lasers, and rolling mills in a fast-paced production setting, with an emphasis on safety and quality

Operate cranes

Operate forklifts

Utilize scanning equipment

Utilize computer, essential skills needed

Inspect work visually for defects according to Quality Systems

Serve as a positive role model consistent with CBB's Mission, Vision, and Core Values

Collaborate with team members and Supervisor to help the team achieve targets

Provide cost-saving suggestions and ideas to improve productivity and eliminate waste

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum of 3 years experience in high production manufacturing environment

Interpret blueprints, specifications, andother technical data and select correct raw material or semi-finished parts

Ability to work safely in a safe environment

Ability to produce a quality product

Ability to stay focused and diligent

Be dependable and punctual

Ability to read and understand job instructions

Ability to accurately use measuring devices

Clear speaking and oral skills

Effective Teamwork

Physical dexterity to operate machinery

Flexible and adaptable to help the team meet needs

Knowledge of basic math

Ability to frequently stand, sit, perform reaching pinching, gripping, pushing, pulling, twisting, and bending

Fill in when and where needed

Be willing to cross-train and be promotable

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
