Meta is seeking a full-time position of Procurement Operations Specialist to support procurement and finance forecasting. You will play a critical role in leading the teams budget forecasts, buying process, identifying pain points, and implementing strategic solutions to scale operations.
Procurement Operations Manager Responsibilities
Using in-depth subject-matter knowledge to lead the teams budget, procurement policies, processes, and best practices
Work closely with research and engineering stakeholders to understand their needs and goals, and build relationships to support the organization's objectives
Understand the full Source to Pay cycle (Sourcing, Contracts, Procurement, AP) to quickly identify bottlenecks, problems, and drive issues to resolution
Research, analyze, coordinate, and respond to incoming inquiries regarding status of purchase orders, invoices, and payments
Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the buying process
Provide clear, concise, step-by-step instructions to internal stakeholders and external suppliers on using procurement tools and interacting with processing teams
Analyze data to identify stakeholder pain-points, exceptions, feedback, and opportunities for improvement in existing processes
Assist in the research and analysis of audit issues raised by external and internal audit
Collaborate with S&O, Finance, Sourcing, Contracts, Supplier Master Team, Enterprise Products (EP) teams
Requirements gathering for process and system improvements
Solutioning and design of new processes and systems
Change management planning and implementation
Manage escalations from stakeholders, including investigating and resolving issues, and communicating resolutions to stakeholders
Minimum Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Finance
Experience with understanding of end-to-end source-to-pay process
Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
Experience in communicating effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, collaborators and clients, at different levels
Analytical and decision-making skills
Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
Experience with successfully navigating a fast paced environment and ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS degree in business, supply chain, procurement, finance, or management preferred
Proficiency with spreadsheets and finance tooling
Experience with Procurement system/software
