Kiwa (Parent Company to T2 Utility Engineers) is seeking a Contract Manager that acts as a strategic partner, responsible for negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts that support Kiwa North America's Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services. This role ensures contracts are legally compliant, commercially sound, and operationally practical-enabling efficient service delivery across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Contract Negotiation & Management
Lead negotiations and contract drafting for testing, inspection, and certification services.
Ensure alignment of contract terms with company goals and legal standards.
Manage the full contract lifecycle: execution, tracking, renewals, and termination.
Maintain contract records in line with internal policies and procedures.
Risk Management & Compliance
Conduct risk assessments to identify legal or commercial exposure.
Ensure contracts meet legal, regulatory, and industry requirements.
Monitor performance and proactively resolve disputes or non-compliance.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Advisory
Serve as liaison between Legal, Sales, Operations, Finance, and external partners.
Provide guidance on contract interpretation and risk mitigation.
Support leadership with data-driven insights and contract recommendations.
Continuous Improvement & Industry Awareness
Stay current on developments impacting the TIC industry.
Improve internal processes around contract workflows.
Assist with claims management and dispute resolution when needed.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Strong background in contract management, procurement, or legal operations.
Experience in TIC or multinational environments preferred.
Proven success negotiating international and vendor agreements.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
Legal education or experience strongly preferred.
Skills:
Deep understanding of contract law and commercial negotiations.
Skilled in drafting and reviewing complex agreements.
Strong communicator with analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Proficient in CMS tools and Microsoft Office.
Able to work independently and cross-functionally.
