HDR is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Florida team. These positions can be located at our client site in Pompano Beach or Orlando.
Primary Responsibilities
Serves as point of contact and project lead for multiple construction projects
Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members
Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures
Review programs for conformance with Department standards
Perform constructability and biddability reviews
Is a mentor to more junior roles
Provides risk management and issue resolution leadership
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field
A minimum of 7 years of major road and bridge construction experience
A minimum of 2 years of project management experience
Must have the ability to interact with various teams and have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
PE License is preferred
Previous experience on FDOT or FL Turnpike projects is a strong plus
