General Laborer**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a General Laborer where you will be involved in pre-making duct work in the shop and assisting with installations at commercial building sites. As an apprentice, you will engage in tasks such as holding materials in place, final installations, clean-up, and installing parts and accessories. You will also measure, cut, and install ductwork into ceiling spaces in new commercial buildings and help create and install HVAC registers and grills.
**Responsibilities**
+ Pre-make duct work in the shop and assist with site installations.
+ Hold materials in place during installations.
+ Perform final installations and clean-up at job sites.
+ Measure, cut, and install ductwork into ceiling spaces.
+ Create and install HVAC registers and grills.
+ Fit elbows for duct work systems before arriving on-site.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience as a sheet metal worker.
+ Proficiency with hand tools.
+ Knowledge of HVAC systems and duct work.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 6 months of construction or installation experience preferred.
+ Mechanically inclined entry-level candidates are welcome.
**Work Environment**
Work inside new commercial construction spaces performing general labor tasks. Typically meet at the shop between 6 AM and 7 AM to work a full 8-10 hour day, with the option to meet directly at the job site. The work environment includes DT Bell Bank and Aldevron on 40th Avenue.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fargo, North Dakota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $30.00/hr.
