**Job Description**
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Entry-Level Industrial Painter to join our team in Omaha, NE. This position focuses on spray painting metal trusses and other structural components in a controlled shop environment. Youll also assist with general shop duties and receive training in forklift and overhead crane operation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare metal trusses and components for painting by cleaning, masking, and priming surfaces.
+ Apply industrial coatings using a spray gun in accordance with safety and quality standards.
+ Inspect painted parts for coverage, thickness, and finish quality.
+ Assist in various shop tasks including material handling, staging, and cleanup.
+ Learn to safely operate forklifts and overhead cranes for moving large components.
+ Maintain painting equipment and ensure a clean, organized work area.
+ Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
**Essential Skills**
+ Previous forklift experience
+ Power tool operating experience
+ Ability to lift up to 75lbs
+ Ability to learn painting and be surrounded by fumes
+ Previous manufacturing or production experience
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with an iron worker
+ Experience with a band saw
+ Previous painting experience

Our facility is a large building where we assemble trusses and production equipment, as well as refurbish trailers. It is a very open space, but it can be loud at times. The environment is non-climate controlled, meaning it can be cold in the winter and warm in the summer. With a total of 7 employees, there is a lot of individual work being performed, but candidates must also be willing to work as a team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, Nebraska.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
