This is a hybrid position. The incumbent Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer will primarily work from home and work in our office, or at a client site, on an as-needed basis.

What You Will be Doing:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer at Interface, you will be taking ownership as a discipline leader on multiple projects. Your duties will include (but may not be limited to):
  • Leading MEP Mechanical Design Projects for buildings in the commercial, medical, education, transportation, hospitality, retail, and other industries.
  • Oversight (EOR) for the preparation of mechanical drawings, sketches, analysis, specifications and calculations.
  • Leadership of Mechanical design staff.
  • Providing construction administration & site observations related to your projects.
  • Providing exemplary service to team members and clients.
  • Developing and executing business with new and existing clients.
To Qualify for Application:

The successful Senior Mechanical Engineer/Designer candidate should have:

  • 10-15 years' experience in positions of increasing leadership in the commercial A/E engineering field
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems in healthcare, educational, and commercial sectors.
  • Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
