Framing Carpenter Foreman Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Framing Carpenter Foreman to supervise and coordinate the daily activities of framing crews. This role involves interpreting blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate framing layout and execution, while ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. You will manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site, communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors, and train and mentor crew members to promote a culture of safety and productivity. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of framing crews. Interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate framing layout and execution. Ensure all framing work meets building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards. Manage materials, tools, and equipment on-site to minimize waste and downtime. Communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors. Train and mentor crew members, promoting a culture of safety and productivity. Monitor project timelines and adjust work schedules to meet deadlines. Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce job site safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of labor, materials, and progress. Essential Skills Minimum 5 years of framing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints. Strong knowledge of framing techniques, tools, and materials. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
