Manufacturing Welder

We are seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator to join a growing team. This is a unique opportunity to independently own projects from blueprints to completion, crafting parts for industrial automation systems using GMAW on mild steel and operating various shop equipment. We require 3-5 years of GMAW and general metal fabrication experience, attention to detail is critical. Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and drawings
• Take and read measurements to plan layout
• Set up parts for welding according to specifications
• Weld using GMAW on mild steel
• Operate other shop equipment such as bandsaw, drill press, cold saw
• Own a project from start to finish and able to complete projects on time
• Maintain a clean and organized work space including tools
• Consistently meet production and quality requirements

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
