Ready to lead a dynamic team and help shape your community? Were looking for a Residential Inspection Supervisor to guide our awesome residential inspectors (Levels I & II) and help keep our neighborhoods safe and sound.

You will play a key role in coordinating residential inspections, ensuring code compliance, supporting the Building Official, and maintaining efficient day-to-day operations. This position requires strong leadership, effective collaboration, strategic planning, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises residential inspection staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Assists with building code interpretations and resolves issues with professionals and the public.
• Supports development and improvement of inspection processes and procedures.
• Prepares reports and responds to public and developer inquiries.
• Serves as acting lead in the absence of the Building Official or Inspection Supervisor.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• High school Diploma / GED or equivalent.

Experience:

• Minimum of three years experience related to Building Code enforcement. Requires broad knowledge of complex systems and procedures.

Licenses and Certifications:

• International Code Council Residential Combination Inspector upon hire
• Valid AZ Drivers License upon hire

Preferred/Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in a municipal or government setting
• Previous supervisory experience is preferred
