UX Architect (Remote, Contract)

Our client, a cutting edge digital agency, is looking to bring on a contract UX Architect to support their team on a client project. Role can be 100% remote, (working CST hours), starting in the next few weeks, for one month with potential to extend.

Overview:
The User Experience Architect will be a highly motivated, creative, and versatile individual with experience designing intuitive workflows. They will have deep experience with interaction design, is fluent in web and mobile information architecture, and will collaborate with designers, developers, and digital strategists to translate functional objectives into detailed specifications. The candidate has a thorough understanding of his/her end users, a passion for user-centered design, and a critical eye toward clear visuals and text. The User Experience Architect will work across all departments within the organization, including Design and Development.

Responsibilities & Duties
? Works cross-functionally to produce use cases, customer flows, navigation
systems, sitemaps, heuristic reviews, taxonomy, functional requirements, and
proof-of-concepts
? Evangelizes user-centered product design within the organization and works to
incorporate user-centered approaches into the organizations product development process
? Participate in all aspects of discovery, concepting, design, and development;
providing a user experience point of view
? Analyze business needs and produce detailed wireframes that meet product
objectives
? Bring an eye for information design and a knowledge of information architecture to create experiences that are both data-rich and elegant
? Approach complex problems with empathy, understanding the users immediate
frustrations, hopes, fears, abilities, limitations, and goals
? Coordinate on ensuring we meet requirements for accessibility
? Other duties as assigned by your manager

Required Experience
? Must Have FIGMA experience
? 3-5+ years of in-depth knowledge and experience of Interaction Design and
Service Design across varied users, business problems, and devices
? Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Google G Suite, Figma,
Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, Validately, JIRA, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
? Expertise with driving and applying user-centered design processes
? Accustomed to working collaboratively with customers and cross-functional team members
? Beginning to develop an area of specialization within the greater design landscape and willingness to develop a deeper understanding of the following but not limited to: User Research and Strategy, Visual Design, Service Design, and Content Development
? Expertise creating interaction models, flows, and wireframes
? Advanced knowledge of rapid prototyping methods, ranging from paper sketching to digital prototypes
? Experience working in an agile environment
? Passion and commitment for great design
