Our client, a leading manufacturer in the heavy haul trailer industry, is seeking an Industrial Painter to join their team. As an Industrial Painter, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Painter

Location: Manchester, Iowa

Shift: 2nd Shift

Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.00/hour

What's the Job?

  • Perform a full range of specialized coating projects by applying various coatings through the operation of paint spraying equipment.
  • Set up and operate spray paint systems to apply prime coat and top coat paints according to specifications.
  • Prepare components by sanding and reworking paint as necessary to ensure quality results.
  • Conduct self-inspections to verify specifications and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following safety procedures and using personal protective equipment.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of industrial painting experience.
  • Basic understanding of shop math and ability to read blueprints.
  • Proven ability to operate painting equipment.
  • Strong problem analysis and resolution skills.
