Our client, a leader in IT infrastructure solutions, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Design professional to join their team. As an IT Infrastructure Design expert, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting critical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: IT Infrastructure Design Project Manager
Location: Owings Mills, MD (Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Pay Range: $71/hr
What's the Job?
- Create detailed design specifications, floor plans, equipment layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar design tools.
- Evaluate and select appropriate power and cooling solutions to ensure optimal equipment performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with project teams to gather and review requirements for new space planning.
- Design and optimize data center power distribution and cooling systems for maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Produce CAD and PDF documents of record for site designs, audits, and publication to other teams.
What's Needed?
- 3+ years of proven experience in data center design, power and cooling, and data connectivity.
- Familiarity with Cooling Systems for computer rooms including ASHRAE 9.9 standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Knowledge of CommScope Systimax product offerings and cabling standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating detailed drawings and schematics.
