Mechanical Technician **$44/hour + $4.98/hour health & welfare benefit** Kelly Government Solutions is hiring for a mechanical technician on a U.S. Department of Energy contract with our customer in Menlo Park, CA. This is a contract to hire opportunity. Duties & Responsibilities: Involves welding & sheet metal Handling hand tools and power tools Might have to drive forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment Required: Able to stand, squat, & lift up to 50lbs, as well as the ability to crawl & bend Familiarity with hand & power tools Basic blueprint reading knowledge Capable of reading measurements Ability to follow instructions Ability to work in a tight space at times Ability to be punctual to meetings Ability to work in a team environment Valid drivers license As part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
