Maintenance Handyman Full-Time 1099 Work (Grand Rapids / Muskegon)

We are looking for a skilled, dependable handyman to help maintain a portfolio of 50+ rental units in the Grand Rapids and mostly Muskegon area. This is a full-time 1099 contractor position perfect for someone experienced in home repairs, unit turnovers, and basic yardwork/landscaping.

Pay:

$25-35 per hour (based on experience/negotiable/scalable)
Full-time
1099 Contractor (not W-2)

Responsibilities:
General repairs: plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, carpentry
Turnovers: patching, painting, replacing fixtures, cleaning
Groundskeeping: mowing, trimming, seasonal cleanup, snow removal
Emergency maintenance as needed
Communicate clearly and professionally with the property owner
Travel between properties (Muskegon & Grand Rapids)

Requirements:
Experience in general home maintenance and repairs
Must have basic tools and reliable transportation
Able to work independently and manage your time
Comfortable with outdoor work (yard cleanup, mowing, etc.)
Authorized to work in the U.S.

Bonus if you have:
Experience in rental property maintenance
Familiarity with using mobile apps to log work
Knowledge of local building codes and safety procedures
