Vendor Project Coordinator [Remote]
Responsibilities
- Vendor Project Coordinators will be part of the back office, a specialized team that owns the process of outsourcing service work and the relationship and quality of the network of vendors.
- Specify the scope of work needed by a vendor by outlining detailed description, photos, and plan sets
- Identify vendors in the area with the appropriate skills and capacity that can perform the required work and request bids from them
- Validate bids to ensure that the scope of work outlined by the vendor matches what is needed and was requested
- Use industry knowledge of appropriate pricing guidelines to identify the best bid and award the work
- Manage how long it's taking vendors to accept, schedule, and complete work to ensure they are adhering to appropriate SLAs and timeframes
- Review work completion reports from vendors to validate that work was completed to our standard and according to the plan set, and that the system is producing as it should.
- Review vendor invoices to ensure they match the bid provided
- Process change order requests from the vendor when pricing needs to be modified from original bid approved
- Process vendor requests by liaising between construction vendor and internal teams or outsourced design team to create updated plan sets
- Manage the B2B relationship and escalate any concerns to the vendor's management team
- Work with procurement when vendors skills, capacity, or territories change, when quality is suffering, or additional vendor support is needed in an area
- Determine what is considered warranty eligible work, research warranty status and determine when a dealer should be charged for work completed
Skills
Roofing or construction background with knowledge of:
A). Components of a roof and how it's put together for structural integrity to identify when a bid includes unnecessary scope of work . B) Industry pricing standards to recognize inappropriate bids provided by vendors
- Executive presence and professional demeanor to navigate B2B partnership and represent Sunnova well in discussions with senior management of other businesses
- Financial acumen to review high value bids and invoices with confidence and a strong sense of fiscal responsibility
- Experience managing roof or solar removal projects to understand the milestones required
- High proficiency in professional conflict resolution to ensure vendors are helping to a high standard while also being motivated to continue working with Sunnova
Pay Range
$68,000-$72,000 USD
