Concrete Carpenter - Bay Area

In this role, you will play a crucial part in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. You will be responsible for ensuring that all work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety, while adhering to project timelines and specifications.

Specific Duties
Assist Company Foreman or lead person on projects
Cut, shape, fit and assemble wood, metal and other materials to prescribed measurements using hand and power tools
Form foundations, flatwork, or site work
Dig footings
Strip and clean forms
Read and interpret construction drawings
Place concrete for foundations on slab or grades
Understand verbal instructions and take directions from Foreman, Superintendent
and/or Project Manager
Understand and comply with all rules, regulations and requirements contained
in Companys Employee Manual
Any additional tasks assigned to facilitate the completion of each project

Qualifications / Requirements

Required:
3 + years of experience as a Carpenter or similar role
Proficient in using hand and power tools such as rebar cutters, benders, and tie wire
Working knowledge of proper framing techniques
Understanding job layout and set up techniques
Proficiency in carpentry tools and machinery, including saws, drills, and sanders

Preferred:
Experience with various rebar tools and equipment
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction environments
Basic understanding of concrete mixing and pouring processes
Experience with commercial and residential construction projects
Experience in concrete forming
Strong work ethic and reliability
Commitment to safety and high-quality workmanship
