Project Engineer

1.Work under Resident Engineers direction to manage/monitor infrastructure project compliance with plans/specifications/contracts/state & local regulations, resolving discrepancies asneeded;2.Review blueprints/design drawings, create as-built documentation & implement site plans per specifications requirements;3.Conduct field inspections to monitor progress & ensure adherence to NYSDOT standards/construction specifications/safety protocols;4.Manage bridge rehabilitation projects, including overseeing structural repairs, such as strengthening bridge structural steel & painting;5.Develop/validate construction cost estimates, negotiate change orders, reconcile budgets & maintain financial oversight;6.Prepare/implement project schedules, including timelines/time extensions & provide progress reports/workflow updates to stakeholders;7.Produce detailed technical reports, manage contract documentation & provide technical guidance;8.Perform value engineering, implement project optimizations & prepare closeout documentation.Req: Master of Science in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum 1-year of experience managing complex construction and infrastructure projects. Extensive knowledge of bridge design/construction/repair; Strong skills in cost estimation, as-built drawings creation, structural analysis, blueprints & design drawings reading/interpretation; Familiar with NYSDOT standards & specifications & ASTM/AASHTO/FHWA guidelines;Proficient in MS Office/Visio/AutoCAD/Civil 3D/Staad Pro/Primavera P6/MS Project/Procore.Salary: $96,500 to $114,500/YearApply: ...
