**About the role**
The Project Manager/Owner's Rep provides consulting services to our financial services client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives for retail bank and administrative construction projects. This Project Manager will manage relationship between onsite Project Managers and client to overcome obstacles while advancing projects on schedule and within budget.
This job is part of the Project Management function responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion. **Remote role with site visits requiring 20%-30% day-travel and/or overnight travel based on location.**
**What youll do**
Partner with onsite Project Managers all areas of project management for ground up retail bank and corporate office real estate projects including planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout.
Work with client leadership to collaborate and act as primary integrator across client teams such as Real Estate Manager, Relationship Managers, Property Portfolio Manager, Design Team and Security.
Interface directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification.
Manage scope change, communications, issues and risks, and organizational change across interrelated projects to meet all project and program objectives
Conduct periodic site visits to monitor the progress of construction, review the status of work completed during the period covered, review that work is proceeding in a proper manner and in general accordance with the approved drawings and specifications.
Review contractors' direct cost payment requisitions and budget status, review of subcontracts, bonds/subcontractor default insurance, review of change orders, review of developer's monthly job cost reports, opine on adequacy of contingency
Review contract blueprints and specifications and opine for completeness and general compliance with commonly accepted architectural /engineering standard methodologies.
Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
**What youll need**
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
+ Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook. Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
+ Ground up, retail, administrative office and/or financial services experience is strongly desired. Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is beneficial.
+ General knowledge of leases, contracts, construction practices, and the ability to read architectural drawings.
+ Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mentality.
