Job Description:

As a Yard Laborer, you will perform a variety of different tasks including loading, unloading, and management of materials in our Fredericktown location that support the successful operation of our projects.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Load, unload, and help manage different materials that support our construction projects.

Operate Cat, Case, or Hyster forklifts of various sizes.

Receive requests and pull orders for the field in a safe and efficient manner.

Perform tasks involving the use of hands and tools.

Moving material from storage yards within the Fredericktown area.

Properly secure equipment and materials for transport.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Good communication skills

Good driving record with valid driver's license

Load securement knowledge

Ability to work independently or in a group

Able to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders

Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at heights as required. (Must be physically able to perform work tasks)

Lift and carry objects weighting 50-70 pound

Follow specific directions

Stand and walk for long periods

Read and understand measuring tools

Perform other routine duties as directed by supervisor

Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions/all seasons
