Commercial Painters, interior and exterior

Job Requirements:

Applicant has commercial painting experience, owns own tools, has reliable transportation, has excellent work ethic, has high standards for quality, can work effectively and efficiently alone and in teams

Duties:

* Has effective communication skills and can follow directions given by project leads.

* Prepares surfaces by scraping; using commercial paint removers; filling cracks and holes; sizing plaster walls.

* Facilitates an efficient work environment by organizing materials and requesting paint

* Maintains safe work procedures by erecting scaffolds, ladders, and safety barriers according to prescribed protocols.

* Protects equipment, furniture, and floors by using drop cloths and plastic.

* Completes requisitions by performing interior and exterior painting, decorating work, finishing, and wallpaper installation according to requirements.

* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.

* Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.

* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

* Enhances facilities and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
