Position Overview:

Blue Compass RV is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead construction projects ranging from $100K to $15M, including new builds, renovations, and expansions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing national organization and play a pivotal role in shaping its physical footprint across the U.S.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with a strong background in commercial construction, lease-related coordination, and cost control. You will manage projects from initiation through completion-ensuring quality, budget, and schedule adherence-while also maintaining compliance with lease terms and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Lead bidding, negotiation, and contract administration with vendors and subcontractors.
• Oversee design development and procurement to ensure alignment with company standards.
• Implement value engineering strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities throughout all phases of the project.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, safety, and construction quality.
• Review, negotiate, and manage change orders and project documentation.
• Coordinate with landlords to fulfill lease requirements and oversee tenant improvements.
• Ensure code compliance and enforce construction quality control protocols.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with architects, contractors, engineers, and internal teams.
• Identify and mitigate risks to maintain project momentum.
• Maintain thorough project records and provide consistent updates to leadership.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial construction project management, preferably in dealership, retail, or service environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage real estate construction, expansions, and remodels.
• Proven ability to drive costs down and complete projects with approved budget
• Strong experience working with architects, engineers, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Knowledge of permitting processes, building codes, and OSHA safety standards.
• Proficient in construction scheduling, budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Experience coordinating construction tied to lease obligations and landlord requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to lead diverse teams and external partners.
• Ability to oversee all trades on smaller projects from start to finish.
• Experience in real estate acquisition due diligence and greenfield entitlement processes.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
• Preferred: Field-based construction experience with subcontractor oversight and daily site coordination.
