To help us drive excellence, you'll get to:
- Supervises, coordinates, and prioritizes activities of production personnel to meet customer, plant and management requirements
- Ensures effective use of manpower. Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments
- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product
- Ensure safety standards are observed and enforced
- Champions 5s activities for the production area
- Participates in continuous improvement activities
This full-time, salary role is a part of our Operations team and reports to the Plant Manager.
Required experience:
- Trouble Shooting / Machine Repair
- Shop Shut Down & Lock Up (provided by Autokiniton)
- SMED
- Visual Defects & Audits
- Work Instructions and Standard
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills:
- Basic Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Business Judgment:
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures in a professional and consistent manner. Able to apply common sense understanding and use appropriate judgment in routine business situations with supervisor, co-workers and customers. Maintain the ultimate example of business judgment and professional conduct at all times. The ability to understand and strictly follow both internal and external business ethics and standards.
