If you are interested in joining our values-based, employee-owned company, we are seeking dedicated, self-motivated and talented individuals like you.Duties and Responsibilities of the Electrician /Maintenance Specialist:Install and repair electrical apparatus such as transformers, lighting and wiring in all company buildingsInstall sub panels, bend/ run conduit, pull wire and terminateInstall/repair electrical components in machineryEnsure all routine and scheduled work on electrical equipment is completed on time and documentedEnsure all work is performed in a safe manner according to OSHA standardsQualificationsQualifications for the Electrician /Maintenance Specialist:Candidates must have a minimum of 7-10years industrial electrician experience with a background in industrial/electrical wiringPrior experience working with 480v three-phase wiringMust be familiar with using equipment such a multimeter and a Megger insulation testerElectronics background is a plusThorough knowledge of methods, tools, practices & safety measures (NEC codes) related to electrical work.Technical training related to industrial electricity strongly preferred.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must have a valid driver's license to drive company vehicleCompensation and Benefits for the Electrician / Maintenance Specialist:Penn United Technologies currently employs nearly 700 people in our employee-owned precision manufacturing company, located about 35 miles north of Pittsburgh in Butler County.
