Now Hiring 1st Shift Plastic Fabricator! Job Description As a Plastic Fabricator, you will be responsible for using a variety of saws and tools to cut and fabricate heavy plastic parts. This role requires proficiency in operating band saws, table saws, drill presses, hot glue guns, and both hand and pneumatic power tools. You must be able to read and interpret specifications accurately to ensure precision in fabrication. Responsibilities Utilize band saws, table saws, and drill presses to fabricate plastic parts. Employ hot glue guns and hand/power tools in the assembly process. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure accuracy. Work on mechanical assembly and electrical wiring tasks as needed. Maintain high standards of production and assembly efficiency. Essential Skills Proven experience using band saws and table saws. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions. High mechanical aptitude. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction or farming is a significant advantage. Familiarity with MIG welding and electrical assembly. Why Work Here? Employees receive a $1 pay increase after 90 days and annually thereafter. Work Environment The work environment is in a new facility that is just two years old, providing a fast-paced atmosphere. It tends to be hot in the summer and cooler in the winter. Employees work on the 1st shift from 5am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, Iowa. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
