The Project Coordinator supports a department or program with planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects. Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects to ensure successful project completion. Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, timelines, and schedules. Coordinate project activities and ensure tasks are assigned and completed on time. Support project planning, including alignment of program goals with project objectives, revising, and updating of tasks, timelines, and deliverables, as appropriate. Prepare and maintain project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, policies, procedures, and other relevant records. Facilitate communication among project team members and key stakeholders, including regular project status reports. Assist with organizing and conducting project meetings, ensuring effective communication of project goals and objectives. Acts as the primary liaison between Program Directors, program administrative staff, and funders, ensuring compliance with awards and managing financial administration. Demonstrates effective written and verbal communication skills, seeking guidance from the supervisor on more intricate issues, when necessary. Support the Financial Analyst and Program Director with the creation and updating of the project budget to ensure spending is aligned with available resources. Identify resources needed, to develop schedules, budgets, forecasts, and methods for measuring results. Track and monitor funds, review, and submit requests for project budget modifications; work with Program Directors to prepare fiscal report. Monitor project progress and update stakeholders on task status, including monitoring award compliance and budgets. Assist in coordinating and managing relationships with vendors and contractors. Assist with onboarding, training program management, and staff learning and development; using best practices; while engaging learners via hands-on demonstrations. Assist with training and planning logistics, course scheduling, venue selection, event contracts, room setup, catering menus, and attendee email communications. Job Qualifications Education, Licenses & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field from an accredited university, required. Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered. Experience: One year of professional experience in project management, preferred. Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, preferred. Competencies Knowledge of: VARIOUS COMMUNITY RESOURCES | PROJECT MANAGEMENT | NON-PROFIT Skills and Proficiency in: Strong multitasking skills with keen attention to detail. Planning, organization and time management, oral and written communication. Interpersonal relationship building, collaboration, teamwork. Computer systems and MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to: Perform at a high level of autonomy, with general supervision. Perform under strong demands in fast-paced, diverse, sometimes ambiguous environments. Handle stressful, sensitive situations; preserve confidentiality and professional boundaries. Meet critical deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail, accuracy and quality. Solve practical problems and document results using sound judgment.
