Electricians / Journeyman Electricians / Electrical Foremen Job Description Seeking talented Electricians, Journeyman Electricians, and Electrical Foremen for multiple projects throughout the greater Gainesville area! Various commercial construction projects: Healthcare/Medical Facilities, College Campuses, Office Buildings, etc.... Compensation Journeyman Electricians & Electrical Foreman compensation based off experience. Responsibilities Oversee electrical technicians and ensure efficient workflow. Assist in setting up sites for daily success. Manage renovation and new construction activities, focusing on gutting and rebuilding electrical systems Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Essential Skills Proficiency in reading and troubleshooting blueprints. Experience with conduit bending and running conduit. Assemble & install wiring apparatus/fixtures. Experience with dimming controls/trim-out dimmers Pull electrical wiring. Terminations. Install fuse boxes. Ability to work with hand/power tools Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as an electrician, particularly in commercial construction environments Ability to oversee complex electrical projects. Work Environment Work involves new construction and renovation within the greater Gainesville area. Presentability and professionalism are required at all times. Work will be performed both indoors and outdoors, adhering to safety protocols including wearing PPE such as hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots. Availability for six-day workweeks, Monday - Friday, 7am -3:30pm, 40 hours a week (Minimum). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gainesville, Florida. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
