We are looking for a hands-on, experienced Electrical Manager to lead and supervise our electrical team within a fast-paced food and beverage processing facility. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and automation, and demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting PLCs and designing control panels. This position ensures all electrical systems and controls support maximum uptime, product safety, and compliance with food industry regulations.**Key Responsibilities:** Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electricians to ensure safe and efficient operation of electrical systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues, including PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.), HMIs, sensors, and motor control systems. Design and oversee the construction of custom control panels to support automation and process improvements. Ensure all electrical systems comply with FDA, USDA, and OSHA regulations, as well as NEC standards. Support installation, commissioning, and integration of processing, packaging, and refrigeration equipment. Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and production teams to reduce downtime and increase system reliability. Manage electrical documentation, schematics, and preventive maintenance records. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and utility companies for upgrades and special projects. Monitor and control electrical budgets, parts inventory, and labor efficiency. Provide ongoing technical training for electricians on food-safe electrical practices and automation systems.**Qualifications:** Associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of electrical experience in manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Proficient in PLC troubleshooting, programming, and modification (especially Allen-Bradley). Experienced in designing, building, and troubleshooting electrical control panels and motor control centers. Deep understanding of sanitary design principles and safe electrical practices in food processing environments. Strong knowledge of industrial power distribution, VFDs, relay logic, and instrumentation. Ability to read and develop electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and P&ID drawings. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical or similar design tools preferred.**Preferred Certifications:**Journeyman or Master Electrician LicenseOSHA 30 CertificationFood Safety or HACCP Training (a plus)Employment Type: Full-timeSchedule: Day Shift / On-call support as needed
