HVAC Service Technician Job Description We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to perform HVAC service work primarily for residential customers in and around Oakland County. Occasionally, there will be light commercial service work up to 25 tons. The technician will be provided with their own service van and iPad, handling 4-5 calls per day. Responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing AC units, furnaces, ducts, or thermostats, discussing issues with customers, presenting solutions, educating them on repairs, and handling payments upon service completion. Work will be conducted inside and outside customer homes while adhering to all safety procedures. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair AC units, furnaces, ducts, and thermostats. Handle 4-5 service calls per day, primarily in Oakland County. Occasionally perform light commercial service work up to 25 tons. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in residential HVAC service work. Troubleshooting and repairing faults with AC units and furnaces. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver heavier items with assistance. Capability to work from heights and in small crawl spaces. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. EPA Certification. Strong customer service skills, including effective communication and easing customer concerns. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with HVAC equipment, repair, and installation. Knowledge of new construction and commercial HVAC work. Proficiency with rooftop units and mini splits. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
