GSE Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled GSE Mechanic to perform repairs and regular maintenance on deicing trucks and service vehicles. The role requires ensuring vehicles are clean and in good working order, and promptly reporting any anomalies or questions to the supervisor. Completion of all necessary documents and reports is also required. Responsibilities Perform repairs on deicing trucks and service vehicles. Conduct regular maintenance on all vehicles. Ensure vehicles are clean and in optimal working condition. Report any anomalies or questions immediately to the supervisor. Complete all necessary documentation and reports. Essential Skills Experience in diesel mechanics and troubleshooting. Proficiency in hydraulics and ground support equipment maintenance. Ability to perform preventive maintenance and engine repair. Minimum of two to five years' experience in repairing heavy-duty diesel trucks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technical, Automotive or Agricultural. Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronics, and hydraulic systems. Experience with Freightliner, Mercedes, and/or Volvo equipment is an asset. Proficiency in using office software and diagnostic tools is an advantage. Valid driver's license required. Must obtain and maintain a Restricted Access Identity Card (RAIC). Why Work Here?
