To thrive, you should have: Technical education or vocational training in pipefitting, welding, or mechanical fabrication. Proven experience in pipefitting or industrial metalwork, able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Ability to interpret technical documents, including drawings, sketches, specifications, and standards, to plan and execute tasks accurately. Skilled in metalworking processes such as marking, cutting, grinding, rolling, and assembling parts to precise measurements. Proficient in equipment operation and maintenance, ensuring proper use, cleaning, and storage of tools and machinery. Attention to quality and detail, including verifying completed work, inspecting assemblies, and preparing parts for welding and finishing. Your responsibilities as the Pipefitter will include: Interpret technical drawings and specifications to accurately plan and execute fabrication, assembly, and repair tasks. Operate machinery and perform metalwork processes such as cutting, grinding, rolling, and shaping to prepare parts for welding and assembly. Inspect and verify completed work to ensure functionality and compliance with quality standards before welding or finishing.
