Electro-Mechanical Technician, Huron OH

Starting pay: $25.30 - $29.76 per hour based on experience,plus a $1.00 shift differential.

You will receive an increase every 6 months until you reach the target pay.

Shift: Evening (2nd) 3:00pm - 11:00pm

What We're Looking For:

Individuals with a background in trades or recent graduates from technical schools.

Mechanically inclined candidates who are ready to take the next step in their careers.

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow.

Primary Responsibilities

Repair and perform preventative maintenance on belts, piping, filters, mixers, valves, bearings, mechanical seals, and pumps.

Troubleshoot and proof test equipment as necessary to solve problems and proactively prevent them.

Install, test, and maintain control devices, pressure-sensing units, and flow measuring devices.

Work from detailed technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.

Work independently under limited supervision (self-management).

Perform documentation of work schedule and work tasks completed.

Basic welding and fabrication.

Perform general housekeeping.

Qualifications

HVAC, Fabrication, Auto Body Technician, Certified Mechanic, Trade Background/Schooling.

Basic knowledge and use of technical documents and drawings.

Ability to perform confined space entry and work at heights.

The position requires frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling.

The position may require weekend work.
