Concrete Machine Operator (CDL Class A Required)
**Job Location:** Cleveland, OH
**Job Type:** Full-Time
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator to join our commercial concrete team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with concrete flatwork, be proficient in operating a variety of heavy machinery. The successful candidate will hold a valid CDL Class A license, be able to read and follow blueprints, and contribute to the labor and finishing aspects of concrete work. This role is critical in ensuring the accurate and efficient execution of commercial concrete projects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Operate concrete machinery including but not limited to skid steer, excavator, dump truck and trailer, powerbuggy.
- Perform flatwork tasks such as leveling, finishing, and curing concrete on various construction projects.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications to ensure accurate concrete placement and finishing.
- Transport and deliver materials and equipment to job sites as required, utilizing a CDL Class A vehicle.
- Maintain machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in safe, working condition, and report any maintenance needs to management.
- Ensure all safety protocols and guidelines are followed at all times, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects and adherence to deadlines.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of job sites as needed.
**Requirements:**
- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in concrete flatwork and machine operation.
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in concrete operations.
- Ability to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments.
