Responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter with a background in commercial painting . This role involves preparing and painting various industrial surfaces, machinery, or structures in a production or commercial environment. Residential painters will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces using sandblasting, scraping, or chemical cleaning
  
  
• Apply primers, paints, coatings, and finishes using sprayers, rollers, or brushes
  
  
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines for handling hazardous materials
  
  
• Inspect surfaces for proper preparation and finish quality
  
  
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work area
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial painting experience
  
  
• Knowledge of industrial coatings, surface prep, and paint mixing
  
  
• Ability to read blueprints or technical specifications
  
  
• Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed
  
  
• Must wear required PPE and follow all safety protocols
  
  
• No residential painting experience will be accepted
  
  

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 50lbs
