What You’ll Do\:
Promote Safety. Actively engage in safety meetings and hazard assessments, contributing to a culture of continuous safety improvement.

Plant Operation. Operate plant equipment to regulate the flow of materials to and from conveyors, chutes, pumps, and storage bins. Control the stockpile inventory of materials.

Constraint Management. Proactively identify and communicate current operational restraints to management and maintenance, along with the steps needed to overcome them and improve operations.

Problem Solving. Promptly respond to alarms, operational disruptions, and process variations by diagnosing issues and implementing effective corrective actions to maintain production.

Technology and Automation System. Proficiently use plant automation systems via HMIs to control, monitor, and optimize equipment for maximum throughput, efficiency, and product quality. Utilize new technologies, actively participating in technological changes to enhance effectiveness.

Effective Communication. Clearly and effectively communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and other plant personnel regarding operational status, issues, and production targets.

Inspect and Learn Equipment, Structures, and Materials. Learn and comprehend plant equipment's function, capabilities, and critical maintenance, such as crushers, screens, and conveyors.

Document and Record Information. Maintain accurate operational logs, production records, and other necessary documentation as required.

Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need\:

Experience. Prior experience operating plants from a control booth. HMI Controls Experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of the concrete, cement, or construction industry is preferred.

Drive / Goal Oriented. Driven by daily and weekly plant goals, focusing on defined physical limits rather than simply maximizing output.

Flexibility. Must be able to work overtime and extended hours depending on customer and company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types of weather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.

Technical Competency. Eagerness to understand and utilize new technologies, actively participating in technological changes to enhance effectiveness.
Mechanical Skills. Ability to learn and comprehend the function and capabilities of plant equipment such as crushers, screens, and conveyors. Performing maintenance and checks as needed.
