Experienced Welder/Steel Fabricator

Successful applicant will perform duties in the steel fabrication shop related to all elements of steel fabrication. Duties primarily involve the steel fabrication processes including reading drawings, assembly and welding, also will include operating basic hand tools, component assembly, operating metal fabrication equipment including saws, drills, grinders that are associated with structural steel fabrication.

Job Qualifications and Skills Required:
Ability to interpret shop drawings.
Basic knowledge of structural steel shapes, sizes, and grades
Basic reading and writing skills.
Knowledge and respect of shop safety.
Able to perform physically demanding work.
Ability to communicate orally.
Current forklift certification is a plus.
Must have the ability to safely operate overhead cranes.
