Facility Maintenance Mechanic**

**Location:** Grassy, Utah

**Shift:** 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (4 days per week, with overtime as needed)

**Compensation:** $23.50 - $25.50 per hour (based on experience)

This critical role ensures the reliability and performance of our vehicles and heavy equipment through proactive maintenance and repairs. **Key Responsibilities**

Adhere to all safety procedures in a hazardous waste landfill environment.

Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy equipment.

Conduct post-repair diagnostics to ensure equipment meets standards.

Use computer systems for diagnostics and work order tracking.

Handle welding, fabrication, and general facility maintenance as needed.

**Equipment Operated**

Includes bulldozers, compactors, 3500 haul trucks, forklifts, excavators, backhoes, vac trucks, side-by-sides, and other yellow iron equipment.

**Qualifications**

**Experience:**

Minimum 1 year of millwright or comparable maintenance experience, or technical education in a related field.

Experience with plant maintenance, welding, electrical work, or pipefitting is a plus.

**Technical Skills:**

Knowledge of welding, hydraulic systems, and pump maintenance. Experience with centrifugal and diaphragm pumps preferred.

Ability to pass a mechanical aptitude test.

**Physical Requirements:**

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing.

**Licensing:**

Must have a clean and valid drivers license.
