Maintenance Mechanic

The **Maintenance Mechanic** is focused on maintaining and repairing production equipment, as well as organizing and maintaining storeroom inventory and reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

This role is perfect for an individual who is safety centric, detail oriented, and possesses effective communication skills. A vital member of the Maintenance Team, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

**Job responsibilities include:**

- Ensures continuous operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventing maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

- Follows diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications to complete maintenance tasks.

- Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

- Troubleshooting malfunctions.

- Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

**What We Are Looking For**

- 3 years min experience as a Maintenance Technician in production floor environment.

- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude

- Some Welding and pipe fitting experience

- Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems

- PLC programming & troubleshooting skills
