Project Engineer Job Description

We specialize in new construction and interior renovations, focusing on embassies, multi-family residences, commercial projects, and interior fit-outs. The Project Engineer will ensure projects are profitable and delivered on time while building and maintaining excellent relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise between the owner, design team, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure and confirm that trade Scopes of Work (SOWs) are clear and accurate.
  • Accurately forecast project profit.
  • Coordinate directly with Superintendents on manpower needs, SOWs, and sequence of work.
  • Produce schedules.
  • Administer contract obligations.
  • Ensure subcontractors are paid on time for earned monies.
  • Coach and mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
Essential Skills
  • Project management and construction management experience.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with subcontractors.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs and Building Connected Pro Software.
  • Experience with change orders and RFIs in commercial construction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in relevant fields.
  • Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office software.

This role operates in a fast-paced construction environment that is deadline-oriented and requires a high level of ownership for errors. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/hr.
