Civil Engineer

Join our client's dynamic land development team as a Civil Engineer, where you will perform engineering site plan and subdivision design using relevant software and Civil 3D technology. You will be responsible for completing engineering, stormwater, drainage, and utility calculations for construction plans in accordance with applicable standards. Additionally, you will work to complete design details and plan sets for commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering, stormwater, drainage, and utility calculations for construction plans in accordance with applicable standards.
• Work to complete design details and plan sets for commercial and residential projects.
• Obtain plan approval from required government agencies.
• Manage projects effectively and efficiently.
• Complete engineering feasibility studies.
• Communicate with clients, review agencies, and internal staff.

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in Civil Engineering Land Development Design.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

• Experience in project management.
• Proficiency in erosion control and drainage.

The position requires working 40 hours per week from Monday through Friday, with hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, including a lunch break. You will be part of a team of four other CAD Technicians, split between engineering and surveying, utilizing Civil 3D and Carlson software for drafting and design on surveying and engineering documents. The role involves using two monitors to perform production drafting. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
