Civil Engineer II
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Engineer II to join our team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with FDOT projects and possess either a Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop civil engineering projects, ensuring innovative and efficient solutions.
  • Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications to guide project execution.
  • Coordinate effectively with other engineers and project managers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with FDOT standards and regulations, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections and assessments to evaluate project progress and adherence to plans.
Essential Skills
  • Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
  • Expertise in FDOT standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering software.
  • Strong skills in grading, drainage, structural analysis, and foundation design.
  • Experience in transmission line and substation design.
  • Proficiency with PLS-CADD software.
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience.
  • Experience with FDOT projects.
  • PE license or EIT certification.
Work Environment

The position requires working in the office five days a week, fostering collaboration and teamwork. The work environment is equipped with advanced technologies and civil engineering software to support project development and execution.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
