Compensation: $90,000 - $125,000 / year

We are seeking a Professional Engineer in our Wheeling, WV office with a strong background in public sector infrastructure and excellent client management skills. Experience with water and wastewater systems is beneficial but not mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a proven record of managing client relationships and is excited about engineering innovative and sustainable solutions to exceed our clients needs and expectations. Responsibilities:

• Manage diverse projects involving multidisciplinary teams
• Develop and maintain client relationships as primary or secondary client contact for projects
• Lead in the development of strategy, the scope of work, and budget for projects
• Design and oversee the preparation of construction documents, applications for agency review, and/or reports
• Maintain overall project quality consistent with company and professional standards
• Plan and execute work tasks, as well as oversee tasks of team members, to meet project deadlines and budgets
• Solve problems creatively and effectively
• Communicate effectively and proactively with management, peers, and clients
• Motivate, mentor, and encourage junior staff and help the team achieve success

Qualifications:

• BS in Civil Engineering is required
• Licensed Professional Engineer, required
• 8+ years work experience
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills
• AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency
• Excellent written and oral communications skills to articulate technical concepts at all levels
• Self-starter that excels in a collaborative, team environment
