Construction foreman and Journeyman Carpenter

Local construction company is looking for a construction foreman and a journeyman carpenter.

Construction Foreman:
The qualified candidate must be proficient in all aspects of construction. Our foremen are bags on builders. Were looking for someone who is motivated, driven, experienced, and has a positive attitude. Organization and crew management skills are essential.

Qualifying skills include, but are not limited to:
- layout and blueprint reading
- Form building
- Concrete and flat work
- Framing and sheeting
- Drywall, mud, tape, and texture
- Roofing systems
- Cabinet installation
- Underfloor systems
- Siding systems
- Foundation layout and construction
- Knowledge of building codes
- Strong communication and leadership skills

Construction Forman minimum requirements
- OSHA 10
- 8 years of verifiable construction experience
- 3 years of verifiable leadership roles
- 2 years commercial experience
- owns all basic hand tools/tool bags
- have built at least 3 homes
- Valid drivers license

Journeyman Carpenter

Qualifying skills include, but are not limited to:
- layout and blueprint reading
- Form building
- Concrete and flat work
- Framing and sheeting
- Drywall, mud, tape, and texture
- Roofing
- Siding - hardi, vertical shiplap, cedar lap, t&g, stone

Journeyman Carpenter minimum requirements
- 5 years construction experience
- owns all basic hand tools/tool bags
- transportation to and from work
- knowledge of building codes
