Experienced Welder Needed (VersaDesk)(Los Angeles)

VersaDesk is looking for an enthusiastic, team player to join our production team and be a member of our Welding Department. A Welding Associate for Versa strives to provide high quality work with attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. At Versa we value taking ownership, being committed, and customer satisfaction. We are currently looking to fill a full-time position.

Duties and Responsibilities

Use and interpret engineering drawings to determine how and where to fabricate sheet metal products
Measure, cut, and bend various types of sheet metal into appropriate sizes and shapes
Fasten joints and seams in sheet metal with solder, welds, caulk and boots, ensuring work is done carefully and bonds will last
Ensure that efficiency is maximized while fabricating our sheet metal products
Use hand and power tools to trim, buff, smooth, file, and grind metal surfaces and joints of parts that have been assembled to ensure safety and a seamless appearance
Ensure safety is a priority on the job during all activities, including using tools and fabricating metal

Basic Requirements

Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
2 years minimum experience
Flexible availability (ability to work overtime / weekends as needed)
