Note: The hourly rate for this position is $32 - $36 / hour. Responsibilities:
- JOURNEYMAN HVAC - DUCT WORK Tools for Sheet Metal Duct Installation: Tin Snips (Straight, Left, Right)
- For cutting sheet metal. Aviation Snips
- More precise cutting, often color-coded.
- Hand Seamers -For bending and flattening duct edges.
- Duct Crimper -To crimp duct ends for fitting pieces together.
- Hand Notcher -For making clean notches in sheet metal. Tinner?s Hammer or Sheet Metal Hammer
- For shaping and flattening metal.
- Screwdrivers (Phillips & Flathead) -For fastening and adjustments.
- Tape Measure-For accurate measurements and layout.
- Level -To ensure straight and properly pitched runs.
- Sheet Metal Scribe- For precision layout.
- Caulking Gun ? For applying duct sealant.
Qualifications:
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel and walk for extended periods throughout the day with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
- Prior experience in carpentry with minimum 5 years of experience
- Self-sufficient and fully tooled in the trade
