Jr. Project Engineer is needed

Honolulu based electrical construction firm is seeking a motivated individual for a full-time project engineer position.

Responsibilities:
* Bidding and Estimating.
* Coordinating, scheduling, and overseeing construction activities.
* Monitoring and reporting of construction progress.
* Identification, tracking, and resolution of various issues.
* Resolving Deficiencies and other quality issues.
* Maintaining safety documents, records, and related issues.
* Preparation, maintenance, and review of project documents.
* Resolution of construction and technical issues.
* Maintenance of record and as-built drawings and changes tracking.
* Ensuring conformity with plans, specifications, contract document, applicable local, state and federal regulatory requirements, and construction standards.

Required Education and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering/science preferred.
* Ability to read and understand plans and specifications, preferred
* Strong computer skills.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Critical thinker and good listener.
* Organized and being able to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
* Self-motivated, conscientious, positive attitude, and a team player.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment.
* A valid Hawaii drivers license.
* Legal Authorization To work in the United State.

Full-time position. Weekend and night work as needed. Starting pay $60,000 annually. Pay commensurate with experience and education.
