Sr. Advanced Project Engineer

As an Advanced Project Engineer III at the Charleston site you will be responsible for supporting Capital Projects for the glove and sleeve sites. You will use your knowledge and expertise in Capital program planning / execution and construction management to support the procurement and development of our glove and sleeve facilities, infrastructure and hardware including but not limited to production equipment and buildings, test hardware, and fabrication and test equipment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Evaluate and manage internal and external suppliers in development and delivery of complex technical facilities that will impact our business for years to come
+ Capital program/ project management
+ Sustainability program/project management Capital project planning and execution
+ Project scope development
+ Project estimating
+ Risk evaluation and management
+ Project management and control (scope / schedule / cost)
+ Construction management
+ Supplier evaluation and engagement
CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS
+ Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
+ 3 +years of related experience supporting industrial or manufacturing capital projects/programs
+ Track record of successful contribution to products & projects
+ Experience with facility systems (mechanical / electrical / structural)
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics (MEP, structural, electrical diagrams)
+ Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, Autodesk, Pro E)
+ Expereince with PSM
+ Strong organizational skills
+ Strong communication skills
+ Significant bias for action
+ Ability to build rapport / relationships with internal and external suppliers
+ Ability to analyze and solve complex and challenging problems
+ Effectively operate in a matrix organization
