Machine Operator

Machine Operator Position Summary: We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team in a non-climate-controlled fabrication facility . This role involves hands-on operation of various industrial machines, requiring prior experience in manufacturing or mechanical environments. Key Responsibilities: Machine Operation : Operate a range of fabrication equipment including press brakes, lathes, mills, and punch presses. Setup & Adjustments : Configure machines according to production blueprints and specifications; make real-time adjustments for optimal output. Quality Assurance : Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise. Documentation : Accurately record production data, equipment maintenance, and quality control checks. Routine Maintenance : Perform upkeep tasks such as die sharpening, cleaning, and basic mechanical repairs. Safety First : Adhere to strict safety protocols in a fast-paced, industrial environment. Clean Workspace : Maintain an orderly, efficient, and debris-free workstation. Inventory Support : Assist with material handling and track usage across job runs. Team Collaboration : Work closely with fellow operators and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Required Skills & Experience: Prior operating experience with industrial machinery in a fabrication or manufacturing setting is required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and part specifications . Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a physically demanding, non-climate-controlled facility . Familiarity with calipers, tape measures, cranes, and standard machining tools. Experience in steel fabrication, roll forming, or sheet metal work is a plus.
