Helps around the fleet shop to keep operations running smoothly. Assists
with minor repairs and keeps inventory organized. Principal
Accountabilities: Keep shop and parts room clean, sweep and take trash
out, maintaining the shop throughout the day. Chase parts as needed for
equipment repairs. Deliver and take equipment to outside vendors for
repairs. Keep parts room organized and inventory stocked and put away.
Help and assist mechanics with repairs. Performs other duties and
responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Required: Minimum of 1 year of related or progressive
experience working in a shop environment preferred. High school diploma
or GED required; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of
degree. CDL license preferred. Proven ability to work well with others.
Ability to be a self-starter. Description of physical working
environment: Physically demanding position. Majority of work requires
continuous standing and walking in shop. Requires lifting materials up
to 75 pounds on a regular basis and frequent twisting, bending and
turning. Ability to climb up and down ladders and steps in
